Our 3rd grade students from Ms. Carson and Ms. Davison’s class had a great time walking to our local Bucktown Firestation. With Thanksgiving approaching, our students wanted to show their gratitude and appreciation for everything firefighters do. A big thank you to our firefighters for protecting us and keeping us safe! 🚒🚒
This Monday, October 11 was National Coming Out Day and here at Bucktown we are celebrating all week. At CICS Bucktown our students and staff matter, they are worth it, they are important, they are loved, they have a voice, they are valued, and they are respected. We want everyone to be happy and proud of who they are 🏳️🌈

Our very own Nurse Kaiser ran the Chicago Marathon- wow, what an amazing accomplishment! Nurse Kaiser, we are all so proud of you and your commitment to health and wellness. Thanks for setting such a great example for all of us. Way to go! 🏅🏃♀️
A big congratulations to our very first students of the week of the 2021-22 school year! These students were selected by their teachers for following the Bucktown rules, being kind, and being overall rockstars the first couple of weeks of school. We are all so proud of these students and their hard work. We know this school year is going to be our best yet!
We are so appreciative of this week's staff member of the week...NURSE KAISER! Nurse Kaiser has been so busy this school year making sure every single student and staff member is safe, healthy, and following all protocols.
